High Fructose Corn Syrup is "Natural"???

Check out this commercial the Corn Refiners Association has been running...

High fructose corn syrup is derived from corn...but cocaine is also derived from a plant, and I think we can all agree that it's not exactly "natural". Once something has been chemically altered, it's no longer "natural", no matter where it came from to begin with! I just thought this was such a crock!! They forgot to mention how much worse it is for you than sugar when not eaten in moderation!! Hello, we are Americans...we don't know how to do anything in moderation! Many other countries won't allow HFCS in their food products (as well as partially hydrogenated oils, which are a whole other can of worms for me), but the good 'ol U.S.A. will feed her people shit and have the audacity to lie in our faces about it! What's next, nicotine is fine in moderation too, huh? After all, tobacco is a plant!!!
